Tennessee HB2019 modifies the venue rules for judicial dissolution of nonprofit corporations. It specifies that the venue for a proceeding by the attorney general and reporter to dissolve a corporation can be in any county where the corporation's principal office is located, where the corporation has engaged in activities, where the attorney general and reporter has an office, or in Davidson, Sumner, or Williamson County. For other parties, the venue is in the county where the corporation's principal office is or was last located. This act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
