HB2014 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39, Title 40, and Title 55, concerning vehicular homicide. It adds a new subdivision stating that if a person convicted of vehicular homicide is also convicted of reckless driving resulting in death, they must be punished as a Range II offender, with the possibility of a Range III sentence if appropriate, but not lower than Range II. This act takes effect July 1, 2026.
