Tennessee HB1960 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 49, to change how priority schools in tier three of the progressive tiered intervention system are handled. The Department of Education must recommend an intervention option to the State Board of Education, which then selects and notifies the school. The school must implement the chosen intervention option. This act will take effect on July 1, 2027.
