This bill amends Tennessee Code to allow the state board of education to waive the educator licensure requirement for individuals who do not hold a bachelor's degree but have at least five years of teaching experience at a church-related or private school. The waiver is subject to conditions, including annual performance evaluations and a criminal history check. The waiver does not grant a practitioner license and is limited to three years unless renewed by the state board.
