Expands eligibility for career readiness assessments to all high school students in grades 9-12.

This bill amends Tennessee Code to expand eligibility for career readiness assessments to all high school students in grades 9 through 12, rather than just seniors. It also removes the requirement for these assessments to start in a specific school year, making them mandatory each school year. Additionally, it mandates the board of regents to create a standard framework for institutions to offer transcribable credit to students who earn credentials on these assessments, which can be applied toward postsecondary degrees. The changes take effect July 1, 2026.
