Tennessee HB1835 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 49 and Title 71, to allow the state to apply for and accept federal grants for the summer electronic benefits transfer (SEBT) for children program. This program provides nutrition assistance during the summer months for eligible children when school is not in session. The act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
