HB1814 allows courts to require naltrexone injections for DUI offenders instead of ignition interlock devices.

HB1814 amends Tennessee law to give courts the option of requiring convicted DUI offenders to receive naltrexone injections for 12 months instead of using an ignition interlock device. Failure to comply with the naltrexone requirement can lead to probation revocation. This act takes effect July 1, 2026.
