These recordings can be either audio or video. Exceptions to this requirement include instances where a technical issue prevented recording despite good faith belief that it was being recorded, or unforeseen circumstances that made recording impossible. The failure to record an interview does not impact the admissibility of any statements or evidence from the interview.
