Amends Tennessee Code to require executive branch employees to provide sworn statements on fiscal impact of legislative measures and to prosecute.

This bill amends Tennessee Code to require employees of the executive branch to execute an affidavit attesting to the truth of material statements submitted for fiscal analysis of legislative measures. It also mandates that the chair of a legislative committee may require such employees to offer these statements under oath, with perjury becoming a Class C misdemeanor. If the chair or executive director has reasonable suspicion that a false statement was submitted with intent to deceive, they must notify the relevant speaker and district attorney general for potential prosecution.
