Tennessee HB1685 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 50, Chapter 6, to allow construction services providers to obtain zero estimated exposure policies. These policies cover liability for workers' compensation claims after reporting zero estimated exposure. Providers must notify contracted entities of their zero exposure status and maintain this notification for three years. Insurers must require applicants to attest to the accuracy of their zero exposure claims. The act takes effect July 1, 2027.
