Amends Tennessee Code to clarify the creation of the local government insurance committee.
The bill amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4, Chapter 29 and Title 8, Chapter 27, Part 7, to clarify the creation of the local government insurance committee. It inserts a new subdivision into Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-29-253(a) to explicitly reference the local government insurance committee created by § 8-27-701. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
