The bill amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4, Chapter 29 and Title 8, Chapter 27, Part 3, to clarify the role of the local education insurance committee. It inserts a new subdivision into Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-29-253(a) to explicitly reference the committee, created by § 8-27-301. The act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
