If a driver is convicted of driving under the influence, a $100 fine is added, and no additional fine is assessed for any concurrent moving traffic violation. These fines are to be collected by the court clerk, transmitted to the treasurer, and deposited in the state highway fund for road maintenance and infrastructure improvements.
