Tennessee HB1474, known as the "No Pride Flag or Month Act," prohibits the display or maintenance of LGBTQ pride flags or emblems on state or political subdivision property. It also bans the recognition of any period as an LGBTQ pride period by state or political subdivision employees, volunteers, or agents. The act allows for a private right of action for violations, with prevailing claimants entitled to declaratory and injunctive relief, damages, and attorney's fees. The act takes effect July 1, 2026.
