Tennessee HB1462 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 66, to ensure that homeowners' associations cannot restrict or penalize first responders from parking emergency vehicles at their residences or on adjacent roadways. This protection extends to firefighters, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, emergency management personnel, and law enforcement officers. The act takes effect July 1, 2026, and applies to declarations and rules and regulations adopted or amended on or after that date.
