Adjusts the annual salary for Putnam County General Sessions Court Judges to match that of circuit court judges and chancellors.
This bill amends existing private acts to set the annual salary for Putnam County General Sessions Court Judges at an amount equal to that of circuit court judges and chancellors, effective September 1, 2030. The salary will be adjusted annually in accordance with Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 8-23-103(2) and Section 16-15-5003. The salary will be paid in twelve equal installments. The bill will only take effect if approved by a two-thirds vote of the Putnam County legislative body.
