Tennessee HB1350 allows disabled veterans to choose between free registration and license plates or a free distinguishing placard.
Tennessee HB1350 amends the state code to provide disabled veterans with the option to receive a free distinguishing placard instead of a free registration and license plate. Veterans who already have the free plates can also apply for the placard by paying the regular fee for passenger motor vehicles. The placard can be used in place of any distinguishing license plate for parking purposes. The act takes effect on July 1, 2025.
