Tennessee HB1314 amends criminal offenses by adding penalties for posting personal information with intent to cause harm and for threatening mass violence. It defines "mass violence" as an act that could lead to serious bodily injury or death of four or more persons. Posting someone's telephone number or home address on a publicly accessible website with intent to cause harm is a Class B misdemeanor, escalating to a Class A misdemeanor if it results in harm.
