Amends state employment bereavement leave for state government officers and employees.
Amends Tennessee Code to grant state government officers and employees paid leave for the death of family members. Employees receive three days for siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, foster parents, or parents-in-law; five days for parents or stepparents; and ten days for spouses, children, or stepchildren. This act takes effect upon becoming a law.
