Tennessee HB1276 amends the state's education code to mandate that the board of regents, the University of Tennessee, and the Tennessee Independent Colleges and Universities Association submit a report to the Tennessee higher education commission. The report must detail the reasonable efforts these institutions have undertaken to prevent copyright infringement on their computer and network resources. This act becomes effective immediately upon becoming law.
