Tennessee HB1225 modifies the state's sex offender registry to require inclusion of the name and address of any church, temple, or other religious group where the offender is a registered member. This change adds a new subdivision to the Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 40-39-206(d), and amends Section 40-39-214(a) to include these religious organizations in the registry. The act takes effect July 1, 2025.
