Tennessee HB1211 prohibits commercial airports from allowing private third-party vendors to use standard or TSA PreCheck security lanes for expedited.
Tennessee HB1211 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 42, to restrict commercial airports from entering into or renewing agreements that allow private third-party vendors to use standard or TSA PreCheck security lanes for expedited screening. This restriction does not apply if the private third-party vendor has dedicated TSA security lanes for its own use. The act also exempts airlines from these restrictions if they offer expedited screening to their own passengers without charging a separate fee. This act takes effect on July 1, 2025.
