Tennessee HB1204 modifies driving under the influence laws by permitting law enforcement officers to assist qualified practitioners in obtaining blood samples from operators. It also extends the minimum license suspension period from one year to one year and six months for DUI convictions. The changes take effect immediately upon becoming law and on July 1, 2025, respectively.
