Establishes a Safe Stars Advisory Committee to develop guidelines for youth athletic activities in Tennessee.

This bill amends Tennessee law to create a Safe Stars Advisory Committee, consisting of education and health officials and legislative appointees. The committee will develop guidelines and materials to inform students, parents, and coaches about sudden cardiac arrest symptoms, warning signs, and electrocardiogram (EKG) testing. The committee will also publish an information sheet on EKG testing benefits and limitations. The guidelines will be available on the Department of Education and Department of Health websites. The act takes effect July 1, 2025.
