Tennessee HB1107 amends state laws to require public schools and charter schools to provide feminine hygiene products in bathrooms and locker rooms for students in grades four through twelve. The state will reimburse schools for the cost of these products. Additionally, the Department of Health will collaborate with the State Board of Education and other agencies to launch a public health campaign encouraging contributions of these products from individuals and nonprofits. The act takes effect July 1, 2025, and applies to the 2025-2026 school year and each school year thereafter.
