Allows large Tennessee local governments to choose any construction project delivery method.
This bill amends Tennessee law to allow local governments with a population of 100,000 or more, and centralized purchasing with a full-time purchasing agent, to use any construction project delivery method they determine most effective. The bill defines four project delivery methods: construction manager at-risk, design-bid-build, design-build, and design-build-finance-operate. The act takes effect upon becoming law.
