Restricts suspension and expulsion of pre-K-2 students unless behavior endangers others.

Amends Tennessee law to prohibit local education agencies and public charter schools from suspending or expelling students in pre-K-2 grades unless their behavior endangers others. If suspension is necessary, it is limited to three days. Before suspension, the school must allow time for the student's emotions to subside and hold a conversation with the student, their teacher, and their parent or guardian. The principal must notify the parent or guardian of the suspension on the day it occurs. This change applies to the 2025-2026 school year and each year thereafter.
