The bill amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 33 and Title 63, to update and clarify the licensing requirements for marital and family therapists. It specifies that an associate license authorizes the applicant to practice marital and family therapy under supervision. The applicant must submit a completed application and evidence of an approved clinical experience. The associate license is valid for up to four years and can be extended.
