Allows Tennessee House and Senate speakers to set conference attendance limits for expense and mileage allowances.
This bill amends Tennessee Code to allow the speakers of the Senate and House of Representatives to determine the number of conferences or conference days for which a member is entitled to receive expense and mileage allowances. The number of approved conferences or conference days must be the same for all members. This act takes effect November 3, 2026.
