The "Dismantling DEI Departments Act" amends Tennessee Code to prohibit state, county, municipal, and metropolitan governments from maintaining offices or departments that promote or require discriminatory preferences to increase diversity, equity, or inclusion. All mandates, policies, programs, activities, guidance, regulations, enforcement actions, consent orders, or other declarations by such offices or departments are void. The act takes effect upon becoming law.
