Tennessee HB0830 revises the composition of the medical cannabis commission, requiring the governor to appoint three members, each from a different grand division. One member must be a patient diagnosed with a qualifying medical condition or a caregiver for such a patient. Another member must be a subject matter expert on cannabis cultivation, processing, shipping, distribution, or prescription. The third member must meet the qualifications of either the patient or caregiver.
