Tennessee HB0754 mandates insurance coverage for detransition procedures and requires gender clinics to report statistics on gender transition.

Tennessee HB0754 amends several titles of the Tennessee Code to address health care provisions. It mandates that insurance policies covering gender transition procedures must also cover detransition procedures. Gender clinics must report statistics on gender transition procedures to the Department of Health. The department must then compile an annual statistical report and make it publicly available. The bill also prohibits counties and municipalities from restricting parents or legal guardians from consenting to mental health therapy for minors addressing gender inconsistencies.
