Amends Tennessee law to prevent vesting periods for property development standards from expiring due to pending litigation.
The bill modifies Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 13, Chapter 3 and Title 13, Chapter 4, to ensure that vesting periods for property development standards do not expire due to pending litigation challenging a permit. The vesting period is tolled, or paused, while such litigation is ongoing. This change applies to vesting periods established under subsections (c) and (d). The amendments take effect on July 1, 2025.
