Amends Tennessee law to classify obstruction of a passageway as a Class E felony, with higher penalties for obstructing highways or streets.

This bill amends Tennessee law to change the classification of obstruction of a passageway. It makes obstructing a highway, street, or other place used for the passage of vehicles or conveyances a Class D felony if done intentionally. Other obstructions are classified as a Class E felony, while obstructing a passageway not used for vehicles remains a Class C misdemeanor. The changes take effect on July 1, 2025.
