Limits ingress and egress requirements for proposed subdivisions with fewer than 70 residential dwellings.
This bill amends Tennessee Code to restrict the number of ingress and egress points required for proposed subdivisions with fewer than 70 residential dwellings. Specifically, it prohibits municipal, regional, and county planning commissions, as well as boards of aldermen and boards of commissioners, from mandating more than one ingress and egress point for such subdivisions. Violations of these provisions are declared void. The changes apply to planning regulations enacted or amended after the bill's effective date of July 1, 2025.
