Tennessee HB0618 prohibits holding multiple elected local government offices simultaneously.
Tennessee HB0618 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 2 and Title 8, to prohibit individuals from holding more than one elected local government office at the same time. Exceptions are made for offices within a political party's state executive committee. Those already holding multiple offices on the effective date of this act can continue until their terms expire. This act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
