Expands the definition of "law enforcement officer" to include additional roles in Tennessee.

This bill amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39, Chapter 13, Part 1, to expand the definition of "law enforcement officer" to include POST-certified law enforcement officers, capitol police officers, Tennessee highway patrol officers, Tennessee bureau of investigation agents, Tennessee wildlife resources agency officers, deputy jailers, correctional officers, probation or parole officers, probation providers, and park rangers. This change takes effect July 1, 2025.
