Amends Tennessee Code to redefine cooperative purchasing to exclude certain municipal utility system materials and maintenance services.

This bill amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 12-3-1205, concerning cooperative purchasing. It redefines the scope of cooperative purchasing to exclude purchases of construction, engineering, or architectural services, and construction materials. However, it specifically excludes materials used in the operation of a municipal utility system and materials, labor, and services used for maintenance, operations, component replacement, or repairs of existing facilities and grounds owned or operated by a local education agency or a local government agency.
