Amends Tennessee Code to allow hybrid learning days and set minimum instructional hours for students.
This bill amends Tennessee Code to allow local education agencies and public charter schools to provide up to four days of hybrid learning in certain conditions. Hybrid learning means some students participate in-person and some participate remotely. Schools must still provide minimum instructional hours: four hours for kindergarten and six and a half hours for grades 1-12. Schools must also implement policies to track attendance and address absences. The changes take effect July 1, 2025.
