Tennessee HB0464 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 50, Title 53, Title 63, and Title 68 to provide immunity from arrest, charges, or prosecution for individuals experiencing their first drug overdose. This immunity may also apply to subsequent overdoses at the discretion of the responding law enforcement officer or the district attorney general's office. The act takes effect July 1, 2025.
