Complete·5/15/25

Tennessee HB0456 amends campaign finance regulations to clarify and enumerate examples of in-kind contributions requiring disclosure.

Tennessee HB0456 amends the state's campaign finance regulations by requiring the Registry of Election Finance to create a nonexclusive list of examples of in-kind contributions that must be disclosed. These examples will be detailed in a rule promulgated under the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act. The registry must provide this rule to each member of the general assembly at the start of each yearly session and to each candidate for state office within one week of the candidate certifying a treasurer with the registry.
