Tennessee HB0434 amends state law to restrict the naming of public facilities after public officials. It prohibits naming public facilities after public officials during their term of office or for two years after they leave office unless private funds are used. This rule does not apply if the official is deceased or an honorably discharged veteran. Additionally, it prohibits public officials from making charitable donations using public funds.
