Tennessee HB0413 amends state law to allow patients with severe chronic diseases or terminal illnesses to access investigational stem cell treatments. The bill defines "investigational stem cell treatment" as an adult stem cell treatment under clinical trial but not yet approved for general use. Patients must have a severe chronic disease or terminal illness, and their treating physician must consider and rule out all other FDA-approved treatment options.
