Tennessee HB0083 amends Title 7, Chapter 61 of Tennessee Code Annotated to change how municipalities and counties handle ambulance service reimbursement. If a municipality does not provide ambulance service and the county does, the municipality must reimburse the county based on population ratios from the latest federal census. The reimbursement cannot exceed fifty percent of the total cost of providing the ambulance service. This act takes effect July 1, 2025.
