This bill amends Tennessee law to allow for the transfer of certain juvenile offenders to adult criminal court. Specifically, it allows for the transfer of juveniles who are 16 years or older, have a prior adjudication of delinquency, and meet other criteria, to be dealt with as adults in criminal court. The bill also includes provisions for notice to the juvenile and their guardians, and sets the effective date for July 1, 2025.
