It allows these cities to contract with private entities for the development, construction, management, or operation of indoor or outdoor sports facilities. The terms of these contracts can include the division of operating revenues or losses, the lease or sale of the facility, the payment of management fees, or any other terms the city deems beneficial. This act becomes effective immediately upon becoming law.
