Requires medical cannabis cardholders to present their card or card number to law enforcement upon request.

This bill amends South Dakota law to require medical cannabis cardholders to provide their registry identification card or card number when requested by a law enforcement officer. Failure to do so can result in arrest under specific provisions. The bill also clarifies that cardholders are not subject to arrest, prosecution, or penalties for using medical cannabis in accordance with state law, provided they do not knowingly possess more than the allowable amount.
