Bans the sale and distribution of hemp-derived intoxicants not for medical purposes.

The bill prohibits the chemical modification or conversion of industrial hemp into certain cannabinoids, including delta-8, delta-9, delta-10 tetrahydrocannabinol, and other isomers or derivatives. It also bans the sale, distribution, possession, manufacture, or consumption of industrial hemp products containing these cannabinoids. The bill excludes medical cannabis and products regulated by the Department of Health. Violations are classified as a Class 2 misdemeanor.
