South Dakota SB181 repeals the medical cannabis chapter if the federal government re-classifies cannabis as a schedule III drug. The Department of Health must notify all cardholders and medical cannabis establishments of the re-scheduling and the repeal's effective date. The repeal takes effect ninety days after the attorney general notifies the code counsel and the Department of Health of the federal re-scheduling.
