This bill revises the adoption of federal motor carrier regulations to include intrastate operations, except for certain vehicles and drivers. It modifies age requirements for drivers, setting a minimum age of twenty-one for interstate commerce, transporting hazardous materials, or operating vehicles designed to transport more than fifteen passengers. All other drivers must be at least eighteen years old. The bill also changes the classification of certain violations from Class 2 to Class 1 misdemeanors.
